VanWeelden Co. was named in Q2 2014 as the recipient of two awards reflecting our dedication to integrity and customer service as a general construction contractor in the business of following through on its commitments to Iowa homeowners.
In April, the Better Business Bureau Serving Greater Iowa, Quad Cities and Siouxland Region honored VanWeelden Co. with one of three Integrity Awards presented to Iowa companies this year, and intended to publically recognize organizations and businesses for dealing fairly, honestly and ethically in the marketplace.
To qualify for a 2014 Integrity Award, eligible businesses that were nominated by a client were asked to submit a narrative along with supportive documentation related to their marketing and communications practices, reputation in the industry and community, and relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors and employees.
Trust, reliability and ethics were among characteristics sought by the BBB in terms of establishing conditions for the Integrity Awards with all application materials judged by an independent panel of community volunteers.
Near-real-time customer feedback and peer benchmarking also played a role in how independent customer surveying company GuildQuality scored VanWeelden Co. when rating our company as a Guildmaster with Distinction for the second consecutive year. Criteria for that award include the ability of a developer, homebuilder, remodeler, or home services contractor to consistently deliver superior service.
Our staff and crews were humbled by the nomination we received by a customer for a BBB Integrity Award, and thrilled to appear again this year on GuildQuality’s roster of Guildmaster with Distinction designees.
Van Weelden Co. is overwhelmed by the trust our Iowa-based customers have placed in us. Thank you. These recent pieces of recognition would not have been possible without – and are 100 percent reflective of – the confidence you’ve show in allowing us the opportunity to repair, renovate, beautify or otherwise improve the integrity of your home’s exterior over the past 17 years.
